Anybody interested in a NHRA chassis tech ?

Postby diggerdon on Wed Feb 27, 2013 6:39 pm

Bob Blackwell, NHRA chassis tech inspector, would come down from K.C. to chassis tech. If anyone is interested post here or call me .
Don Avondet 417-236-5706.
The more we can get the better. His traveling price can be divided up among the cars teched . It helps out a little on that part of the cost.

Im going to call Bob Blackwell, Monday to see if we can do a 2 site deal on the same day .
One at Bryan Walkers shop on the MoKan end and one at Don Erwins place on the ORP end.
Hopefully we can get this done Saturday the 23rd.
I didnt see anything but TNT scheduled on that day so hopefully that will work out.
I will keep you posted.

Keep us updated. It would be much easier for me to haul my car to walkers shop, than all the way to Willard. I could do Willard if I had to, but it would make life easier to get it done in joplin.

I Had just talked with don and Both of my shops have a big parking area, but my shop on west 7th will be the easiest to get to either off 44 or 7th st. If your coming east or west on I-44 turn north on 43 until you get to junge Blvd (aka 13th st), turn west 3/4 mile and it will be on the north side of the road big green and white buildings you will see my trailers, (if you get to the speedway you went to far)

If your coming from east or west 7th take black cat road south until you get to first four way stop, turn east, 1/2 mile on your left, big green and white buildings you cant miss it.......................

DON SAYS BOB WILL BE THERE AT 10AM SATURDAY MORNING FOR WHOEVER IS WANTING TO GET THERE CAR NHRA CHASSIS CERTIFIED..................

If you need any other directions feel free to call me or text me just whichever, 1-417-621-8350 Bryan Walker

For directions , I googled "shady pine lane and junge blvd, joplin mo. " and it came right up . So come on down, it has plenty of parking.

Bryan said the weather would NOT be a factor , we can use his shop to get in out of the elements. Don Erwin said you guys on that end could do the same on his end.
