started by ordering parts for andrew car this week. took the motor off to freashen it up. remember don't wait till the last minute to work on your cars, check your hoses, trans lines. don't want to oil the track down. just remember you leak on the track no one races while we clean up the mess. Dr Goss says check your car over good before you bring them to the track. let have a good clean season. :nice:

Man it's weird that you mention the thing about tranny lines....I just replaced mine with some thin clear plastic hose so I can see the fluid circulating :mrgreen:

Put some brodix heads on and converted to e85. Hopefully.the ole fireturd will run decent lol.

Took the block to the shop to have it honed. Block is toast. I have an 010 standard block so I'll take it, have it bored & go from there. Going to go with a bigger bump stick. Hope to be a little faster this year.

Got the heads off and to the shop for a performance valve job and port and polish also got a new intake. A Super Victor Jr. Going to try a get my red bomb closer to those single digits. I've got the red 2006 GMC pickup. OLD,FAT and GRUMPY .

Hopefully a new adjustable torque arm, some new exhaust, and a professional tune. Hopefully I can get the inconsistency issue fixed. Sucks having a car run three or four great passes just drop drop two tenths all of the sudden.

You should put some of that $75 a tube Lucas G3 racing grease on those muffler bearings. Prolly pick up another 3 or 4 tenths!!
