The Olds once belonged to Corky Wiegers, a Tulsa racer. His son Chris is still racing. I saw Corky set this car on fire in the pits at Tulsa one night. It involved a alcohol carb and a pop bottle full of gas.

I'm thinkin it was spring of 89...Hard to believe it was that far back........Bobby and I raced each other in a final that year..........I always had fun hangin out with him...

My time flys .The camaro is Bobby Patton {hoghead] . I had to recall the years with his aunt Kathy.He grad hs in 82 Had a gray street driven Camero .Then he had a white with orange , yellow & black strips. Sold it and built the blue one so it had to be no earlier than88-89.Was"nt sure if it was Kurt but I thought it was.

True story. When Bobby first had that car painted the top portion of the hood scoop was pink. Everyone gave him crap, including me, and he had it painted blue. That pic has to be late 80's or 1990. In the latter years before Jim Kennedy acquired it he switched to Goodyear front runners. Miss him terribly!
