12 bolt

I might be interested in a 12 bolt rear end if anyone has one laying around.

I have had, 3700lb 13.20 Mopar, break the 8 3/4 rear end every 4 passes. I now have lighter cars.
The racers do things, to help the drive line last. Taller gears, loose conv, and bigger cam, for less low end torque. At 2,500 stall, with a 4,500 conv, the torque peak comes in, outside the stage beams, and spreads out the power.
An air bag, in the right rear coil spring, can keep it from bouncing back, which loads the drive line, and the car will leave level.
A posi, and stock axles, give more cush, and help save the ring and pinion. Just keep spares.
A Mopar 9 1/4 Dana, from a 75 and later truck, is stronger than a 12 bolt Chev, and have low cost at the salvage yards.
