I was checking the antifreeze for winter and had to add some so I started it without the cap on and added some and it kept bubbling up out of the cap. I know it can have air bubbles in the system but it never really quit having bubbles come up. What would cause that?
An article in Mopar Action, said they crack the valve seat at 75k, and go to water at 150k. However a high percentage, do not have any trouble. Dual exhaust may help the heads to run cooler, and last longer.
I have ordered a set of head gaskets for it. I have to find out what the torque specs for that engine. I am going to replace them and also the clutch fan I think. If it doesn't work then I have a small block chevy ready to go. Lol
Do your self a favor and have the heads checked out you could have a problem like the others said but it would be good insurance to have them checked for warpage also take your time while its down and get as much checked out as you can you will be glad you did
