what goes into swaping a chevy 350 engine into a 1984 foxbody mustang other than transmission. how do the mounts work out

You can buy a k member for your car that has motor mounts for a sbc. The main problem is finding headers for it. They make headers for them but they are really expensive.
81 MALIBU 406/TH350 11.07 @120 mph with a 1.51 60 foot.
91 CAMARO 355/TH350 13.09 on street tires and 12.22 with slicks. All stock suspension and no subframe connectors!

reason i ask is because i have a slight tick that occurs when i run it for about 5 mins or so and it starts right around 2200 RPM's. wondering if its a lifter or what. i know some of you bigtime ford guys know what it would be. its not my exhaust i had that checked. ANY IDEAS plz feel free to P.M. me or post. Thanks
