Help 2006 dodge charger

2006 dodge charger shifter is stuck in park I know what is wrong with it the pink thing is broken down below the shifter I can move the shifter by using a screw driver , has any body fixed one of these before ? or would any body like to and how much thanks

You should contact the dealer and see if that's a recall. I had the same thing happen on a friends 07 dodge avenger. I took it apart and got it in gear for them so they could drive it. They called the dealer to get it fixed and it ended up be a recall and they got it fixed for free. Their shifter looks identical to yours so I bet yours is a recall to.
