This scanner is the caddilac version and has worked perfect.
The software isn't up to the current year because cars newer than 2008 typically get repaired at the dealership. So why pay for software you won't use?
To update this to the current year, it will cost right at $1K. So, if you need it updated it is still a lot less than the $4500 this scanner cost new.
If you would rather fix cars by knowing what the sensors are reading instead of guessing from the codes, then this is the scanner for you. You will save a lot on un-necessary parts.
Will consider partial trades. PM me if interested.
