SMOG pump question..

i need to plug off my 93 mustang motors smog on the back of the heads their is a outlet that runs out to a pump.. what is the size of that plug and can i just plug it?

I've heard that you can tap those holes to 5/8"-11 and use a set screw or bolt to plug them.
When I bought my E7 heads, they had spark plugs screwed into them and the porcelin broken off. The thread isn't right but it can be forced. This didn't seem to be a problem.
