Mo-Kan 2013 Schedule

Preliminary schedule is up. I don't anticipate any changes to this schedule, but be sure and check back often and before you go.
New stuff on the schedule this year;
A Spring Shootout that will likely include some index classes, a 10.5 class and Top Dragster and Top Sportsman.
The Big Money series that will closely emulate the CDRA Guaranteed purse big money bracket format from years past.
The Motorcycle drags on June 8th get some help from a local club and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Wounded Warriors.
The Truck Drags were surprisingly popular last year, so they get a tune up and will run on the same weekend as the Farm Show, July 20th. Looking for a big crowd at this one.
Hot Summer Nights gets it own Saturday, Aug. 4th, with some qualifying on Friday night.
The one and only CDRA Bracket Finals returns to Mo-Kan with a new format and more fun the end of October.
And of course all of the good stuff you expect. Friday Fun Drags, Memorial and Labor Day weekends, The Hot Rod Reunion and more as we head into our 51st year of Championship Drag Racing at Mo-Kan!

Will there be any kind of points system with the three unofficial CDRA races? Any of the sponsorship prizes, ect, that have been a part of CDRA in the past? Will the classes all be 1/8 mile?

Bob I'm not sure on the three race Bracket Series. It will definitely pay weekend points money like CDRA did last year, but beyond that I'm just not sure yet.

It's awesome that you are having a spring shootout, but from what I hear jeff is having a mako race at the throwdown in tulsa the same weekend. Which is not so awesome, and im betting it will hurt car count pretty bad. I am not trying to sound like i'm complaining but just wanted you to be aware of it. And as a racer I was just hoping to get to race both of them. But regardless we do appreciate you giving us a place to race.
