Well if you know who I am you will realize i have not really raced for 2 seasons now, but that will change very soon (hopefully) finally got my new motor in the cougar and got all of the front suspension installed. For those that need a refresher i have the Red 1967 Cougar that had the 461 sbf, now its an updated 461 sbf and the front suspension is completely redone with strange struts. hopefully ill make some mako appearances, and maybe some No/E or Super pro appearances as well. Sorry for no pic in the thread, i can

Well, I guess you guys will allow a race pickup ? :-) I've started a few changes on the red truck.......... Was just going to freshen engine and found some piston skirts all scratched up and some minor cylinder wall scratches. So off to the machine shop, was honed another .010 and new pistons. Everything rebalanced. Have a new cam from Bullet cams. 248/260 dur and 625/621 lift. Also full roller rockers from Yella terra. Finally got my Bogart front wheels and skinnies. Sold the turbo 350 and got a powerglide w/ full manual valve body and trans brake. Going with electric water pump. Still will have alternator but no more power steering. After engine and trans are back in will lower front end and order double adjustable Stange front coil overs. Then take bed off and cut fame off at back of cab and start over lowering it to match front end. Should be about 3-3 1/2 inches lower. Lengthening ladder bars about another 10" or so. Oh ya had head work done by Dusty Frazier, now flowing 320 with bigger valves. Here are a few pics.......

It's pretty bare now, but it's almost Spring. Should start greening up soon(Hopefully it's a perennial). I'll return it asap. :nice:
