Hot Rod Reunion - going to transbrake legal?

Post by Rumbler »

This question is probably for Carl or a track official, but I see that Rogersville had adopted a transbrake legal/no box stance for all classes at their Nostalgia events. I am running an altered right now so there is no issue, but I am building a nostalgia Gasser car that I plan to have out some time next year. If you are thinking about going to transbrake legal in "open Gas" and "Super Stock" classes, I would build my TH400 with a transbrake valve body. But, if you are planning to hold true to nostalgia - no electronics, I am up in the air on which way to go. I'm getting old and forgetful! Different starting line procedures for different tracks doesn't excite me much!

Thanks for the Great Race Track!

Hi Ted,
Thanks for the kind words.
We have no plans at this time to make trans brakes legal in Open Gas or Super Stock

Thanks Carl, your answer is exactly what I figured it would be! So, I still have to decide how to setup the new transmission...
