Re: Rainout
Just because you get down the track, does not mean, that your car is working right. But then maybe your racing secret is, to lean it out on the top end. 3psi of fuel pressure, on the finish line, is rule of thumb, but many racers would say that, that is too low. Maybe it will not hurt the motor, but...

Re: Rainout
I never did find a way, to keep the center carb, from starving, when on the 2bbl. It was a concern as I was running a 250HP Nitrous hidden system under the Sixpak. The fuel pressure never went below 3psi, even on Nitrous. It could die on the track, with 3 psi, from vapor lock. With 10x26 slicks, and...

Rainout
Good for some racers, but bad for the rest of us. I think that Kleine's Wagon was running out of fuel. Years ago, I had a 70 340 Cuda sixpak, and If I ran on the center 350cfm carb only, it would starve for fuel, and die on the track. It had two pumps, a cool can, and regulator, and a pressure gauge...

Does it count?
Does a bye run RT count for a bye run? Towards the end of a race, the cars that are left in, may all have had a bye run.

Changes
People are under more stress than ever, and there could be trouble. Not lately, and not at MoKan, but I have lost just so there would not be a Riot. I have changed classes, to keep the peace. The win lights are for the Fans, but a quarter mile away, they are hard to see. A hard up disgruntled racer ...

Re: Points
Maybe color was a problem. Picture this, an all bike meet, and as racing wound down for the day, there were four bikes left. Three Harleys, and little Green 100 Honda Trail bike, Me. There seemed to be some kind of complaining, but what could their problem be? They must have, 18 times to motor I hav...

Re: Points
What was our game, and how did it work? I still do not know, how it worked, but both 17sec cars were doing it. Yes, the spot slowed their RT to .03 where we were, and they were either on the dial, or safe by one. A 17sec car, is not that consistent, so how was it done? We did not match, on the finis...

Re: Points
I took sixth in points, at KCIR, with a 73 Charger, 318, with 2:76 gear, and they allowed trans brakes, and two-steps, but had deep staging. So, a rental car would not need to be anything great, if they allowed deep staging, just fast enough to be in the class, if run, in drive. But tracks may not l...

Re: Points
If racers cannot race, they may need to go to the Tower, and state what they want done. 1 I cannot race, but keep the tech card, for the show up points. 2 I cannot race, but give me a refund, back to Spectator, as I intend to stay and watch, and I will not get any points. 3 Give me a full refund, an...

The race car broke down, and I was not able to race, at the June 2 race. But I turned in the Tech card, so I should have received show up points.
It had no forward gears, after backing it off of the trailer.
