Re: Cheap Street rules
I understand trying to keep it street car oriented .I'm just saying the rules will keep the performance in check . The tags and insurance won't . Something else to think about is that Arkansas and Kansas don't have safety inspections Missouri does so all the late model cars with more stringent emissions requirements are at a disadvantage. That is unless you know a saftey inspector
Dont get me wrong on this deal I think this will be a killer class just don't want to see cars that meet all the rules requirements except tags and insurance not be able to race.

Re: Cheap Street rules
just curious, Ive got a 408ci pontiac, big block or small block since all poncho blocks are the same size?
Re: Cheap Street rules
The smallest wheel i can fit on my car is a 16'', are there any exceptions? My car is a 03 mustang. All the drivetrain is stock. The only way i can fit a 15'' wheel on my car is by taking a grinder to the brake calipers, and im definatly not doing that, its just as important to stop as it is to go!

Re: Cheap Street rules
poncho.nut, good question. I'll see what I can find out.
Naja, As long as the tire doesn't exceed 28" in diameter and 10.5" in width you'll be fine.

Re: Cheap Street rules
The rules list "Whipple 3.3" as an allowed blower. I am assuming that the Whipple 3.4 is the intended allowed blower setup (for the modular Ford guys). The 3.3 was released for the Ford GT Supercar briefly, but they started calling it a 3.4 shortly after. If you look on Whipple's website, they list the 3.4 for the Lightning/Cobra/GT/GT500. It is the offering from Whipple that compares to the KB 2.8.
The 3.3 itself is a boat blower that was adapted by a few guys to work on the Mod platform. The 3.4 is the same compressor, just designed specifically for the modular motor.
I have sent Carl an email about this clarification.

I can find the W210AX on their site, but not a any information. Do you have a link for a little more info on this blower?

Re: Cheap Street rules
Looks like the 3.4 is pretty comparable with the 3.3. I'll amend the rules to allow the 3.4...

I guess I'm out with my 30x9x15 slicks, although I do have a full interior (backseat included) and weigh in at a svelt 3680lbs ;)
